About Us
My name is Yasmany Fuentes, and I have been in the scuba diving industry for over 16 years and own my own dive shop, The Scuba Company. About five years ago, I began developing this chair out of personal necessity. A shoulder injury made repeatedly lifting and putting on heavy scuba equipment while working as a Divemaster increasingly difficult. I knew there had to be a better way. T
Two years ago, my friend Mark Kasparian, owner of a custom cabinetry business, joined me in refining the design. Combining my diving experience with Mark's craftsmanship and problem-solving skills, we worked together to create the chair you see today. What started as a solution to a personal challenge has evolved into an innovation designed to help divers stay in the water longer, safer, and with less physical strain.
